Herne Bay made their first signing of 2020 with Ben Smith capturing the signature of 23-year-old Dan Carrington from Ramsgate. Carrington is a versatile defender/midfielder. Before he joined Ramsgate for the start of the 2019/20 season, he made 150 appearances for Faversham Town and appeared for them in the Isthmian League Division One South play-offs and the Isthmian League Cup Final. He had previously been with the Ebbsfleet United Academy and had a loan period with Erith Town.Squad
