Recently, you will have read that this football club has been awarded a £50,000 grant from the Premier League Stadium Fund, money which will go towards the completion of our new clubhouse at the MBS Stadium.

Following this brilliant piece of news, we are delighted to announce that the Premier League Trophy will be taking pride of place in our clubhouse before Tuesday’s Isthmian League Premier Division match against Haringey Borough.

From 6pm onwards, fans are invited to come along and have their picture taken alongside the most coveted domestic football trophy in world sport.

The Premier League Stadium fund has already played a key role in helping continue the development of the MBS Stadium, providing a sizeable sum towards the development and laying of the state-of-the-art artificial playing surface, as well as the brand-new floodlights.

For a community-based club like this one, this kind of funding is incredibly important for the sake of development, cementing a long-term future, and providing a valuable community asset.

With that being said, we are extremely thankful for the support the Premier League Stadium Fund has been able to provide Herne Bay FC.
