We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Connor Dymond, who moves to the MBS Stadium from Isthmian League South-East Division side Cray Valley PM.

A player that Bay boss Kevin Watson knows well from his time at The Artic Stadium, Connor adds steel and versatility to the Bay squad, with the newest addition to the team comfortable in defence or midfield.

Dymond started his career with Premier League side Crystal Palace, graduating through the youth system but without making an appearance for the first team. Loan spells with Barnet and Newport County followed before a permanent move to Bromley in 2016.

Following his departure from Hayes Lane a year later, he went on to feature for the likes of Welling United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Kingstonian, and Margate, before returning to Welling United in 2019.

Twenty-three appearances and one goal later, Dymond joined Cray Valley Paper Mills on 2 August 2020, going on to feature 76 times, scoring nine goals.

This season, Connor was a regular fixture in the CVPM squad, making a total of 25 appearances in all competitions, twice coming off the bench. He also scored one goal in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round win against Carshalton Athletic, a game which ended 2-2 after normal time, but The Millers went on to win on penalties.

He will be available for selection ahead of tomorrow's Isthmian League Premier Division match against Canvey Island.
