Built on the success of our two over 35s sides, Herne Bay are actively recruiting players over 45, especially those with a previous or current connection to Herne Bay FC.

The Club believe that as people stay active for longer, this new team may be of interest to players who are not entirely ready to hang up their boots. It also offers the club a structure from youth level, through to senior football, overs 35s, players in their 50s and all the way to walking football.

The current Over 45s squad has players from 45 to 63 and the emphasis is on enjoying the football together. At the moment, the team is involved in friendly fixtures once per month on Saturday mornings but we are expecting a league to be set up next season which we will be part of.
