In the programme notes for the League Cup Final, Herne Bay Ladies Manager Anthony Deer says, “It's been a tough season, but getting to the league cup final for the second year running is an achievement in itself! It should be good game between two teams with little in between them and will go to the team that wants it the most on the day. Playing at Winch's Field with a big crowd will no doubt help us rally through but whatever the outcome no one can comment adversely on what may be another fantastic season in our short history of being a team”.
