It is a fantastic and busy time to be at the Bay with so much great talent on display. The development these lads are getting playing men's football at such a young age is showing to be hugely helpful toward their success. Not to mention, Alfie and Jack have cemented their places in the first team squad at the young age of 17 which is spectacular under Lovell.
It is great to see how much these loan lads have really developed in 3-4 months, we are seeing the clear transformation from boys into men now. What has also been hugely beneficial is the mentoring they are getting from our under 23's Managers; Gary Sayer & Toby Robert. Gary bringing a wealth of playing experience in the 430+ games at Step 4 & 5 over the years. Toby with his top tier coaching and analytics in every small detail, the VEO work these lads are getting is top notch from him. But not to forget Chris as supporting coach is doing a great job.
If I also look at the players coming through in our under 16's and 18s which are still to even step into the 23's its looking a bright future for the club and something I am very excited about. Let alone if I look at some of the talent we have in our U13,U14 and U15's coming through.
Thanks again to all out partner clubs working with Herne Bay FC and giving these talented lads the opportunity! I hope to make more partnerships going forward get in touch if you haven't already dofhbfc@gmail.com
