Cray Valley PM are looking like favourites to win the Isthmian League Division One South East after beating Herne Bay Firsts 4-2. Mike Salako scored with his 16th headed goal of the season to go with the nine scored with other parts of his body. Liam Friend scored his first goal for the club, also with a header. Both goals came from Frankie Smith corners.

Herne Bay U14 hosted Sittingbourne at Winch’s Field in the Kent Youth League Under 14s South. Sittingbourne won 3-1. The U14s have been awarded a walkover against Ramsgate in their final game of the season which was due to be played next week. This would be Ramsgate’s third consecutive walkover being awarded to their opponents. Bay end the campaign in tenth place.

Herne Bay U16s drew 1-1 at home with second place Kennington Juniors in the Kent Youth League Under 16s South. Bay have one game left to play and are 4th.

Herne Bay U18 travelled to Ramsgate in the Kent Youth League Under 18s South and came away with a 3-3 draw. With one game still to come Bay remain in ninth position.

Herne Bay U13s have completed their fixtures and are top of the table, six points ahead of Hastings United who have three games in hand. Bay have a 25 advantage in goal difference and on Sunday Hastings lost 4-3 to Ramsgate who they meet again in two weeks’ time. Hastings don’t complete their fixtures until 12/05/2024 so whether Bay are champions or runners-up may not be known until then.

Herne Bay U15s are already champions in the Kent Youth League Under 15s East. They have one match left to play at Snodland Town Nomads on 05/05/2024.

Herne Bay U23s Development and Herne Bay Women were both without a game.
